Andrea Weaver was born in Lancaster, PA and resides in Lititz, PA. Andrea has been creating art since elementary school. She is a recent graduate (Cum Laude) of the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design in Lancaster, receiving her BFA in Fine Arts, and plans to further her studies with a Masters in Painting/Fine Arts. Andrea’s particular areas of study are oil painting and ink drawing and her current work borders on Abstract Expressionism, both in style and form. Her obsession with paint as a media stems from her influences who include the likes of Willem De Kooning, David Brewster, and Hans Hoffmann. Andrea’s subject matter consists mainly of cityscapes and landscapes, as well as the human figure. In addition to painting, Andrea has also worked in freelance web design for over ten years.
